We had such a wonderful experience at Fairview EyeCare. My 7-year-old son, who has autism, needed an eye exam, and everyone — from the front desk to Dr. Patrick — was incredibly patient and kind. They took their time, explained everything gently, and even brought him crayons to help him feel comfortable. Their empathy, professionalism, and warmth went above and beyond. I’m truly grateful and highly recommend this place!

Eyes with high power plus progressive aging, I desperately need a good pair of reading glasses. Dr. Lyons at Fairview Eye center was that ideal specialist I can count on. He’s been so patient with me even offered a second comprehensive checkup to make sure I’ll get a long lasting perfect pair. Really appreciated his consideration and professionalism. I am a 78 year old man who wears progressive lens. Approximately 6 months ago I started having double vision. It got so bad that I had to stop driving. I went to my ophthalmologist who confirmed that yes it was double vision and that my eyes were not working together. He recommended that I see a specialist in prisms. He recommended that I see Dr. Mathew Lyons at the Fairview Eye Care in Allen, Texas. I met with Dr. Lyons and he spent two hours with me discussing the problem and testing me with many prisms. We decided on the right prisms and that we would still go with progressive lenses. When the lenses and frame came back, I was discovered that in my case progressive lens and prisms did not work. Dr. Lyons spent an additional two hours with me to further remedy the situation. He recommended that I go to two pairs of glasses. One set for far vision{driving and outside} and the second pair for reading and computer work. Both pairs of glasses came back and they worked. I can drive again and I am not seeing double inside or outside. I want to thank Dr. Lyons and his staff for working with me to get things right. Dr. Lyons is very skilled in the area of prisms. He is easy to talk to wants to work with his patients to find solutions to their problems. Thanks Dr Lyons. Steve Maurer
